What we are looking for

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer Lead to join our team.

 

The ideal candidate should deeply understand DevSecOps principles and Agile implementations. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting DevSecOps practices, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products within a dynamic SAFe Agile environment, and collaborating with a technical team in MS Azure Cloud.

 

Location: Fully remote with 10-15% travel to client sites across the United States. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NJ, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.

 

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

  • Support software development teams and Program Increment (PI) events in a SAFe environment.
  • Collaborate with Technical leadership, the Architect, the Release Train Engineer (RTE), Scrum Masters (SM), SAFe Teams, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in team and ART planning events and engaging with Architects and Security specialists.
  • Support GitLab pipelines, code quality scans, and Cypress-based regression suite.
  • Responsible for evaluating vulnerabilities and aiding in prioritizing resolutions.
  • Create and execute test plans, including performance testing, and generate relevant reports.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset, supports Agile practices, and automates processes.
  • Coach and Mentor in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
  • Quickly adapts to the environment, fostering trust and a congenial work atmosphere.
  • Supports environment management, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)/release activities, and coordinates with security and cloud teams.
  • Participates in communities of practices, hackathons, and stays updated on cloud technologies.
  • Supports containerization efforts.

What you bring

Experience, Education & Training:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT Field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in technical team as Developer on Software Development project
  • 3+ years Leading and supporting SAFe teams as DevSecOps Engineer
  • 2+ years implementing CI/CD in MS Azure cloud
  • Proven ability to communicate Security risks and gain buy-in from Technology leadership
  • Experience delivering end-to-end automation in MS Azure with security focus
  • Worked with diverse teams (Product Owner, User Experience, Design, QA) for end-to-end project execution
  • Identifying dependencies, risks, and impediments promptly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Administering and working with GitLab, Cypress, C#, .NET, WebForms, MDX, KnockoutJS, SQL, React, GitLab, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL Server, MS Azure cloud, Kubernetes/Azure Container Instances
  • DevSecOps Engineer for large enterprise-level software development effort
  • Coaching and mentoring DevSecOps professionals, developers, etc.
  • Worked on a Government project
  • Certified EC-Council Certified DevSecOps Engineer (E|CDE) or equivalent
  • Experience evaluating security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • SAFe Certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with Rally is a plus

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
