Technical Architect Lead

Tripoint Solutions is seeking an Technical Architect Lead to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of design and development principles, supporting SAFe Agile implementations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Location: Fully remote with 10-15% travel to client sites across the United States. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NJ, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

• Rapidly understand the environment and the current architecture.
• Works in SAFe environment, collaborating with the Technical leadership, the Enterprise Architects, the Release Train Engineer, Scrum Masters, SAFe Teams, and DevSecOps professionals.
• Participate in team and ART planning events, engage with Product Management, Security specialists, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders.
• Design resilient Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, aligning with SAFe principles to minimize risk, improve user experience, and address non-functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain project architecture documentation, including diagrams and technical specifications.
• Ensure cloud solutions meet high standards of performance, security, and compliance.
• Implement architectural vision, regularly communicates it to teams, and fosters a growth mindset within the organization.
• Build trust, create a congenial work environment, and coordinate with Enterprise Security, cloud provisioning, monitoring, and data security teams.
• Actively supports learning initiatives through participation in communities of practice, hackathons, and other knowledge-sharing activities.
• Stay updated on the latest cloud and infrastructure technologies.
• Contributes to containerization efforts and evaluates new tools for efficient value delivery.
• Influence senior management on development, hardware, and software configurations by influencing Enterprise architects.
• Assist in application development efforts with development teams and supports DevSecOps efforts.

Experience, Education & Training:

• A Bachelor's degree in IT Field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years as a Dev Lead on Software Development projects
• 3+ years of SAFe teams experience as an Application Architect
• 2+ years implementing CI/CD in MS Azure cloud
• Proven ability to communicate and gain buy-in from Technology leadership for resolving security risks and reducing technical debt
• Experience designing end-to-end architectural solutions in MS Azure cloud with a focus on security
• Architectural solutions experience with Gitlab, Cypress, C#, .NET, WebForms, MDX, KnockoutJS, SQL, React, GitLab, REST/SOAP APIs, SQL Server, MS Azure cloud, Kubernetes/Azure Container Instances
• Experience evaluating new products and tools for best fit
• Worked with diverse teams including Enterprise architects, Agilists, Product Owner, User Experience, Design, and QA for end-to-end project execution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Architect for large enterprise-level software development
• Worked on a Government project
• Microsoft Azure Cloud certification (e.g., MS Azure Solutions Architect) or equivalent
• Experience evaluating program's current architecture for simplification and enhancement
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP)
• SAFe certification is a plus
• Familiarity with Rally is a plus
