What we are looking for

Tripoint Solutions is looking for someone who is creative, detail-oriented and driven to support client services project teams by coordinating, creating, and writing technical and controlled documents that will include client work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training content that supports end users of all levels.

 

Location: On-site in Washington, DC

 

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

 

  • Develop and write technical documentation that supports business, technical, and cybersecurity policies, processes, and procedures, including enterprise architecture, standard operating procedures, incident response plans, other technical documents, memorandums, and communcations
  • Collaborate with business, technical, and cybersecurity teams, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather information and develop technical documentation
  • Maintain knowledge of Risk Management Framework, FEDRamp, and other Government wide Cyber Programs
  • Staying abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and the OMB guidance that emerges to help Agencies address them
  • Collaborating with team members, diverse professional staff, and reviewers to meet deadlines and produce high quality work products in accordance with in-house and client requirements
  • Create templates, reports, and presentations for departmental presentations as well as executive level presentations
  • Change Management Releases – coordinate updates training and technical artifacts. This could include drafting communications to a large audience, specifying essential information and technical changes in a clear, concise, and simple to read manner

 

What you bring

Experience, Education & Training: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or other related analytical, scientific or technical discipline, or; 
  • Bachelor's degree in English or Communications AND a Masters degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity AND a Cybersecurity certification
  • 5+ years of broad communications experience working in a Tech Writer role
  • Ability to pass the Niche editing/writing test
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, customers and third parties
  • Experience writing technical and business documents including enterprise architecture, cyber security framework, etc.
  • A self starting problem solver, who is detail oriented with an appetite to learn

Preferred Skills:

  • 5+ years of broad communications experience working in a Tech Writer role
  • 3+ years of project management or experience as a team lead
  • Experience with Process Improvement – Six Sigma, ISO, CMMI
  • Experience with records management
  • Strong skill set using collaboration tools
  • Robust knowledge of Google Suite

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for potential access to classified information. Accordingly, US Citizenship or Green Card is required.
