Senior Business Analyst

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team.

Location: Remote work.  The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NJ, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.

The Senior Business Analyst will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the success of a highly visible, results-driven client through the development of a cloud-based system.

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

• Interfacing with customer stakeholders to identify their business and software needs through formal and informal stakeholder engagement; soliciting and helping determine business needs and interpreting them at a high level to document requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate and articulate complex technical concepts and fostering open dialog to address uncertainties.
• Conducting analysis on customer requests to identify risks, the proper scope of a solution and help leadership and technical resources determine tools and services to accomplish the request
• Challenge, negotiate and influence customer requirements to ensure a clear functional vision that fits within the time and budget constraints of the program.
• Identify issues proactively, analyze root causes, and propose effective solutions that balance technical feasibility, stakeholder requirements, and project constraints.
• Clarifying functional requirements and functional design during development of solution
• Documenting business and technical solutions in a variety of formats including business cases, operational & functional requirements, user stories, use cases, business process diagrams, mockups, wireframes, and/or any other method necessary to communicate a potential solution to stakeholders
• Effectively collaboration with the Scrum Master and development team to clarify and guide product features
• Working in project teams that develop software applications in a cloud environment; task coordination for developers to ensure that requirements are properly being interpreted and implemented according to stakeholders needs.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience with IT projects, requirements analysis, and full SDLC lifecycle
• 5+ years of experience in an Agile environment and using agile development tools
• 3+ years experience with complex, application cloud migrations
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Experience leading a agile/scrum team
• Experience developing business cases, operational & functional requirements, user stories/epics, use cases, and business process diagrams
• Experience working as the Product Owner or Scrum Master
• Experience gathering, refining, and analyzing client requirements; with a keen eye for understanding the needs of and negotiating with multiple stakeholders
• Understanding of and experience with an Agile development environment
• Experience in conducting end-user training and generating support material

Preferred Requirements:

• Broad experience across the SDLC including release management
• 5+ years experience working as the Product Owner or Scrum Master
• 3+ years experience as a Project Manager
• 3+ years experience with Microsoft Power Platfom applications
• Strong understanding of government contracts workflow
• Experience integrating in-house applications to external government system of records (SOR)
• Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification
• Experience leading multiple scrum teams
