IT Project Manager

Tripoint Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager 

The ideal candidate will have a diverse background managing technology projects for Federal customers and the ambition to build a portfolio of increasingly challenging technical projects.

Location: Hybrid Remote

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management, to ensure successful migration and refactoring of applications to cloud infrastructure
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Continuously and effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure full transparency on the status of the program and properly manage expectations.
• Understand and consider the dependencies between all applications and identify opportunities to work efficiently and effectively across the portfolio
• Provide a structured and methodical approach, management expertise, oversight, control, and direction in team building, communications, time management, quality assurance and quality control, procedure development, risk management, configuration management, and software integration
• Ensure high priority changes are accommodated, when appropriate and as dictated by stakeholders, product owners, the user community, and congressional requirements
• Proactively identify and address risks, issues, and roadblocks that may impact project delivery, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to cloud migration and security.
• Perform audits on IT projects throughout the development stages to maintain expectations
• Hold the teams accountable for ensuring overall compliance to scope and schedule
• Establish relationships with stakeholders to develop operational roadmaps aligning priorities as needed

Experience, Education & Training: 

• Bachelor’s degree

• 8 years of related experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks and process maturity frameworks such as ITIL and Agile Methodologies for Software Development lifecycle

• Experience leading multi-component project teams (e.g. Data analytics, Web services, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, etc)

• Familiar with Atlassian software (JIRA or Confluence) and Microsoft 365 tools

• Experience effectively articulating recommendations/conclusions, both verbally and written

• Strong data driven and analytical skills

• Excellent leadership and motivational skills

• Highly organized and able to build trusting relationships with stakeholders

• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
• ITIL certification preferred

Clearance Requirements:

Secret clearance required
