What we are looking for

Tripoint Solutions is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in Arlington, VA.

 

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join the Human Resources team. The HR Generalist performs administrative, strategic, and planning duties.

 

Location: Hybrid. 2 Days per week required in our Arlington, VA office

 

 

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

 

  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
  • Assist with payroll by updating employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, hourly employee validations, and benefit changes.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form to ensure legal compliance.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment efforts by sourcing and interviewing potential applicants on experience, skills, and education.
  • Administer employee performance review process
  • Coordinate employee benefit eligibility, enrollments, terminations, and payments.
  • Prepare employee census information for insurance, 401(k), and other reports.
  • Provide written and verbal employment verifications.
  • Process and respond to unemployment benefits claims.
  • Perform administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Perfom other duties as assigned

 

 

 

What you bring

Experience, Education & Training: 

  • An Associates or Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including recruiting, hiring, benefits, compliance, talent, compensation, employee retention, and engagement
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with various level of employees
  • Excellent communication, strong organizational skills and very detailed oriented.

 

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for potential access to classified information. Accordingly, US Citizenship or Green Card is required.
