Senior Cloud Engineer

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team.

Location: REMOTE but DMV, (DC, Maryland, Virginia) residency is required for minor travel.

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

• Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud architecture supporting the USNCC digital ecosystem.
• Configures secure, scalable, and resilient AWS GovCloud environments to host applications such as SIS, LMS, CRM, CMS, and Data Warehouses.
• Coordinates with cybersecurity personnel to ensure compliance with RMF, ATO, and DoD cloud security standards.
• Maintains architecture documentation, ensures DR/BCP solutions are in place, and oversees cloud resource optimization.

Experience, Education & Training: 

• Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud-native services, and enterprise system integration.

• Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for potential access to classified information. Accordingly, US Citizenship or Green Card is required.
