Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst to support our federal customer

 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Systems Analyst with a strong background in Department of Defense financial management systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in federal financial regulations, system interfaces, and travel systems, and will play a key role in supporting financial transaction integrity and system compliance.

 

Location: Remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA. 

 

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

  • Analyze and resolve financial transaction issues across feeder systems and systems of record.
  • Coordinate with financial system contacts and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) for interface testing and issue resolution.
  • Participate in requirements grooming and system change request development for the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Support the implementation of Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS) version 11.2 interfaces with DTS.
  • Review and maintain documentation including Interface Requirements Documents (IRDs) and transaction flow diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with the Federal Financial Managers Integrity Act (FFMIA), Federal Financial Management Systems Requirements (FFMSR), and Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS).
  • Understand and support vendor payment processing for Centrally Billed Account (CBA) government travel cards.
  • Contribute to future Treasury Disbursing process integration with DTS.

 

 

What you bring

Experience, Education & Training: 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in DoD financial management systems.
  • Certified as a Defense Financial Manager (via Society of Defense Financial Managers) or holds DoD Financial Certification.
  • Strong understanding of federal financial regulations and system requirements.
  • Experience with DTS interface development and testing.
  • Familiarity with SFIS 11.2 and its application in federal financial systems.
  • Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across technical and financial teams.
  • Prior experience as a Defense Travel Administrator (Preferred)

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship (required for clearance eligibility)
  • Active Secret clearance

Annual Salary Range: $100k - $130k depending on level of qualifications
