Data Migration SME

Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Data Migration SME to join our team to support our federal customer.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Migration SME to support the National Computerized Maintenance Management System initiative. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating user needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for developers working within the IBM Maximo platform.

Location: Remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA. 

The successful candidate will be accountable to:

• Engage with end users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to understand operational needs and pain points.
• Document functional requirements, workflows, and use cases for Maximo enhancements and configurations.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
• Facilitate communication between users and developers to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Support testing, validation, and user acceptance of new features and system updates.
• Maintain requirement traceability and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in change management and training efforts related to Maximo system updates.

Experience, Education & Training: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with IBM Maximo, including large-scale implementations.
• Experience with federal or multi-site implementations of Maximo.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide CMMS deployments.
• Strong background in business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with maintenance operations, asset management, and workflow design.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for potential access to classified information. Accordingly, US Citizenship or Green Card is required.
